IAHSA Board of Directors
IAHSA is managed and governed by a Board of Directors, made up of active members elected by IAHSA’s membership. The Board of Directors administrates the affairs of the Association, and broadly represents the membership, both geographically and in professional experience. The Board assists with advocating the interests, goals, and public policy directions of AAHSA and IAHSA with appropriate federal and state officials.
IAHSA Committees
The strength of IAHSA lies in its membership – Care Providers as well as Associate Members. Through IAHSA’s governance structure, members can actively participate in determining the goals, programs, and activities of IAHSA. Input from committee members is crucial in the formation of policy and direction for the Association, including its ability to provide timely, cost-effective, and high quality service to its members. IAHSA’s committees are a vital link between the Board of Directors, staff and membership. As such, they form the backbone of the Association and the work that it does.
IAHSA Networks
IAHSA’s new member-driven Networks give IAHSA members the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge with one another in a relaxed, open environment. Participating in IAHSA’s free Networks gives you access to powerful information through gatherings and the Online Information Centers. Members can participate in Networks in person, over the phone, or through live online webinars. Network leaders are experienced aging services providers, and are excited to share what they have learned, as well as learn from other passionate providers.
