Chief Financial Officer Needed: The United Presbyterian Home, a premier senior living continuing care retirement community in Washington, Iowa is seeking an experienced service-oriented leader to assist the Chief Executive Officer in the operation and management of the Home community. The United Presbyterian Home offers an exceptional residential environment to seniors in independent cottages, apartments, rooms and nursing care. A Four year degree is preferred or equivalent education and experience with an emphasis in Business, Finance & Accounting or Health Care Administration. Knowledge of GAAP Accounting & Dynamics software is a plus. Experience with Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement is desirable. Applicant should be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills. Applicant must possess excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and an ability to work well with others is needed. A Minimum of three to five years managerial experience, preferably in the senior living, health care or hospitality industries is desired. The position requires the ability to effectively manage the resolution of employee relations issues and/or resident issues. A demonstrated interest in working with the senior population is advantageous. Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office or Comparable Systems.
