Director of Marketing - Home & Community Based Services

The Director of Marketing for Home and Community Based Services will develop and oversee the marketing, public relations and community education activities for the purpose of promoting WesleyLife's community-based services to all providers, beneficiaries and the public. The Director will establish and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and community organizations. Other duties include identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new business accounts and increasing current existing key accounts. This position is responsible for effectively developing initiatives and providing sales and marketing leadership to Community Liaison Staff to meet or exceed all growth and development targets.

Requirements include at least 2 years of home health care or hospice marketing experience or 3 years directly related sales marketing experience in the healthcare field. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the Central Iowa market and have a well-established network of contacts within the health care community. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact with a wide range of home health, hospice and private duty customers, including consumers, regulatory agencies, health care institutions, referral sources, and community organizations. This position will require excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak in public settings. Travel will be required up to 75% of the time with most of the travel handled during normal business hours. Occasional overnight travel should be expected. EOE.
