IAHSA Quality First Recognition

2008 IAHSA Quality First Recognition

How to submit your program for Quality First Recognition

IAHSA Quality First Recognitions acknowledge IAHSA members whose program efforts demonstrate their commitment to Quality First. Members are recognized for their Quality First commitment to exceptional care, services, systems, and/or practices in one or more of the 10 elements of IAHSA-AAHSA's Quality First plan.

The number of organizations who receive Quality First Recognition is not limited. Quality First Recognition is based on the commitment to Quality First, not the level of success gained through a program. Recognition may be given for “noble experiments” that demonstrate a commitment to Quality First, regardless of the level of success gained. Organizations who have demonstrated their commitment to Quality First through program efforts that demonstrate creativity, innovation, or risk-taking will receive Quality First Recognition.

2008 Quality First Recognition submissions will be completed online. Please have answers ready for the following questions when you begin the submission process:

  1. What elements of Quality First does your program demonstrate?
  2. Explain your program with relation to the elements of Quality First it demonstrates.
  3. How long hs this program been in place?
  4. If there is a cost, how is it met?
  5. Has success been measured? If so, how and with what results?

Submissions must be completed by 5:00pm on November 3, 2008. Please contact Kathy Strang at 888.440.4630, ext. 107 with any questions.

All Quality First Recognitions will be highlighted at our Year End Meeting on December 2 - Celebrate IAHSA: Community Achievements, allowing those who are recognized the opportunity to share their story with all of IAHSA. Share your story and submit your program to earn Quality First Recognition today!
