Members of the IAHSA public policy committee visited on Capitol Hills February 20th with key legislative leaders. Meetings with Sen. Amada Ragan and Jeff Danielson and Representative Mark Smith discussed concerns with the pending “Whistle Blower” legislation, Medicaid cuts proposed by Governor Culver and problems caused by DIAs steep increase in the numbers of fine issued. Members also met with their own legislators.
