It is time to submit nominations for IAHSA Awards and Quality First Recognition. Some enhancements have been made to the program, which will allow Awards recipients and those receiving Quality First Recognition the opportunity to share their story and successes with all of Iowa.

Structure Change
The IAHSA Awards & Quality First Recognition structure has been reviewed by the Member Services Committee, and improvements to the program have been implemented. Award winners and Quality First Recognitions will be selected by the Member Services Comittee (formerly the Awards and Membership Committees). Awards will be presented to the recipients in their own facilities, creating opportunities to share stories and successes with resdients, staff, and the surrounding community. Awards recipients and Quality First Recognitions will be featured in a newspaper supplement; another opportunity to tell the not-for-profit story. Share your story with all of Iowa and submit awards nominations and programs for Quality First Recognition!

Awards Nominations
IAHSA presents several awards each year, in several categories. For a description about each award, see the online nominations form. Nominations for Awards now takes place online. You may submit nominations for more than one award, with only one nomination per award. Quality First Recognition Submissions
IAHSA Quality First Recognitions acknowledge IAHSA members whose program efforts demonstrate their commitement to Quality First. Members are recognized for their Quality First commitment to exceptional care, sevices, systems, and/or practices in one or more of the elements of IHSA-AAHSA's Quality First plan. Submission for Quality First Recognition will also take place online.
